Corrupt a Wish
As created on NaNoWriMo NOW OFFERING PRIZES After you corrupt someone's wish,and make your own wish, e-mail me Chriswriter   with a vote for funniest corruption and funniest wish of the week. The corruption and wish do not have to be from the same post. No, don't vote for yourself. The writer of the funniest corruption and funniest wish of the week (as tallied by me on Monday, for the week just ended) gets mentioned here in the contest someplace, and the first three voters who nominated the winner (as time-stamped on the e-mail) will also receive a prize.PRIZES: Funniest Wish: 1,000 gp's Funniest Corrupter: 1,000 gp's First three voters for the Funniest Wish: 500 gp's each First three voters for the Funniest Corrupter: 500 gp's each; until I run out of points. Who knows, maybe I'll be able to increase the prizes.The object of this game is to: 1. Define your wish in such a way that even a cruel genie could not make it come out wrong, and 2. Reply to the wish of the poster just before you and prove you'd make a really sneaky genie. If your response is beaten by another responder (maybe it just took you an instant too long to type and post), please pick another wish to corrupt, and don't forget to leave your own wish. Sometimes a wish will receive multiple responses anyway, the universe is just funny that way. You may enter the contest as many times as you wish, but please always corrupt a wish while you're there, and leave your own wish. Please keep it clean, we have kids running around here, and I want everybody to be able to play. Naughty people will not be allowed to play anymore. So, an example would be Wish: I wish I had a nice, sweet, juicy apple suitable for consumption by me. Granted: in fact you have several in your trough, you're such a good horse people give you apples all day long. Wish: I wish somebody would always get rid of the pots and pans after I cook, so I don't have to. Granted: every time you cook somebody sneaks into your kitchen and steals all the cookware you dirtied while you're in the other room, eating. |
