Planting sunflowers

The Sun Flower

When I was a kid, I lived on the sun.
It was really hot there and wasn't much fun.
In summer, when the solar winds blow
I planted some seeds just to watch them grow.

It's hard for a garden with no shade to be found;
The ground can't stay wet, there's no water around.
But I have faith the seeds I planted will grow
With love and with kindness, some green will soon show.

I felt something growing outside in the ground
I prayed for a Beanstalk, a miracle to be found
Running outside, my body filled with love's power
And there in my garden stood a six-foot sun flower.
