time for Christmas! it's Jason's first christmas without Kyla. how will he cope?

Chapter 3: Christmas time

It was the best of times it was the worst of times, I Georgia the narrator, can tell you all about it. It was the first Christmas for Ryla, and, chrome. But for Jason it was the first Christmas without Kyla. Kent, Eliza, and Ethan knew this very well, so they tried to make it so nobody bothered him, but it didn't work, Ryla "asked" if she could borrow his frying pan because she saw it as a weapon in a movie, chrome needed Jason's wrench, James needed his frying pan too, but he left when he heard Ryla shouting, "I shall use my deadly frying pan to destroy the bugs in my room with their little space suits!" And ran when she saw James trying to take the frying pan. Jason was so mad, he locked his door and refused to give anyone anymore of his things. So, when Kent and Eliza asked if he wanted to eat the Christmas feast with them, he shouted, "I will never eat a Christmas dinner with this crew ever!" And he went to bed, he tried to sleep, but everyone laughing and cheering, kept him up. Eventually he went to sleep. "Wake up Jason" whispered a voice, "no" said Jason in his sleep, "its pronounced despierta" "ugh" said the voice and started shaking him, "wake up!" Then he woke up "whose there?" He said "I've got a frying pan!" Then he realized Ryla took it "oh wait, never mind" he said. "I" said the voice "am the ghost of Christmas past!" "Really?" Said Jason "you look like my dad." "yeah" said the ghost "I am your dad! Great to see you again, Jason." "wait" said Jason, "I think I read a book about something like this, let me guess, you're here to teach me about the magic of Christmas." "actually" said the ghost, "you're not far off!" "Well," said Jason, "I know my dad," "alright" said the ghost, "let's go visit your past," then he flew Jason through the wall through space, to visit the day when he had his first Christmas with Kyla, "wait," said Jason "I remember this place, it was my eighth-grade classroom!" "that's right," said the ghost "here is where you got your first gift from Kyla." "Hey Jason!" Said 15-year-old Kyla, "it's our first Christmas together!" "I know I know," said 15-year-old Jason sweetly, "you told me like 15 times," "I'm just excited" said 15-year-old Kyla, "me too" said 15-year-old Jason "but," said 15-year-old Kyla, "I couldn't wait so I got you a Christmas present! Open it!" He opened it and inside was a small notebook that said on the inside, follow your dreams, and your heart, Kyla. "You kept that journal" said the ghost, "through everything that happened, even though she left," "I know" said Jason, "but what does that have to do with anything, I still got stuck in this scrap pile, wandering through space until we all die!" "wow" said the ghost, "you can see your mother raised you, anyway, you probably want to go eat with your friends before the last guy gets here. bye!" Then Jason woke up, or so he thought and wondered what the point of the ghost telling him that was, "probably just a weird dream," he started to walk back to his bed when a new ghost came, "hi!" Said the ghost "my name is Georgia, but you can call me, present!" "huh" said Jason "how hard did I bonk my head on the way up here?" "Wow!" Said Georgia "I am so full of energy! Any way I am here to tell you about the present of Christmas!" "eh" said Jason "I'll just go along, until I wake up." "that's the spirit!" Said the ghost Georgia then started laughing at her joke "off we go!" They turned into ghosts and went downstairs, to watch the rest of the crew enjoy the food, "woah" said Georgia marveling at the food, "that looks delicious!" "James cooked it" said Jason not looking very impressed, "I will make sure to steal some later," said Georgia, "anyway, here your friends are eating together and talking mostly about you, but also about the Christmas's back on earth," "oh!" Said Eliza "remember the time where Kyla, was visiting and we wanted to impress her so we made a huge cake?" "yeah" said Ethan "and I remember" said Kent "Ethan accidentally blew it up." And they all laughed "I remember that" said Jason "we got all over the house and my mom forced us to clean it up, with the cake broom." "Cake broom?" Said Georgia imagining a broom made of cake, "but" said Jason "I still don't want to eat with them, right now." "ok" said Georgia "but, just know, I know what today is, oh! And the next guy, er, spirit, is pretty brutal so, don't say I didn't warn you." And she disappeared, "wait!" Said Jason "spirit! How do I get back?" No one answered, "great" said Jason, "just great, stuck here forever, probably going to die here," "Jason" said an ethereal voice, "oh great," said Jason "another ghost." "I" said the ghost, "am the ghost of Christmas future, Lunarus," "ok" said Jason, confused why the ghost looked so much like Kyla, "Jason" said Lunarus, "if you don't celebrate Christmas with your friends, this may seem crazy, but the universe will end." "Really," said Jason not believing her "how so?" "it will start," said Lunarus, "when you first encounter the spider queen, if you are not there, your friends will not be able to handle the power of their illusions, and get lost forever, and when you encounter the dice master, if you are not present, the dice master will grow powerful enough to destroy the universe, making it his personal board game, when you find Kyla, if you are not near, Kyla will not go anywhere with anyone else, when the spider queen marries the most destructive tyrant in the universe, if you are not there, no one will be able to stand up to them or inspire Sophia, to let out her inner power, you Jason, are the most important, most necessary human, the universe shall ever know." "wow" said Jason "all that will happen if I don't celebrate this Christmas?" "More or less." Said Lunarus, "but if you go now, there will still be time, to save the universe, goodbye Jason, see you in 17 chapters!" Then Jason woke up, he was back in his room, and in his bed, still processing that he had to save the universe, "wait" he said "you there, clock, what day is it?" Then the clock said on it: why the last minute of Christmas of course. "there's still time!" He said he ran downstairs and ate dinner with everyone else; he told them his weird dream and Eliza said "either you drank expired milk, or the spirits, deemed you a scrooge." "I always knew it would happen" said Kent "eventually" said Ethan. And everyone laughed, even Jason, and in the background, the ghosts sat; the first ghost, sitting next to Jason, the second ghost, Georgia, stealing food, and the third ghost Lunarus, smiling at Jason.
