Write a story or a poem that is set on Sept 1 - 2050; exactly 25 years from now. Picture The StoryMaster and The StoryMistress celebrating *Wattle Day in Australia somewhere. Easily transformed in WDC-Day I must say. Do they manage to interest people to start writing in the way they do now? Or are they retired, spending their lives in a different way?
Be creative, and use both fantasy and foreign as genres.

SM and SMs have their ducks in a row
All quacking 'a waddle-waddle we go'
When in Australia, Wattle they do
It's Wattle Day, grab a kangaroo!

Roos and duckies a-Wattle-waddling
Everyone joining in - no one dawdling!
No one stops to snack or chat
And soon we're joined by the wombat!

Roos and duckies now wombats, too
All a waddle-Wattling the whole day through
SM and SMs and their son and daughter
Dancing and echoing the kookaburra's laughter!

Dancing in step, waddle-Wattle la-la-la
Oh, here comes the famous koala!
All the creatures and the Story Family
Wattle-waddle to the count of one-two-three!

And then a waddle-Wattling, who knew, who knew
Joining in the dance, is our friend the emu!
Wattle-waddle, waddle-Wattle, feels so great
SM tells SMs, "Good on ya, mate!"

"Wish we could build an Ark" SMs sighs
As the StoryFamily says their goodbyes
There's another party they have to attend
It's 2050, WDC's Golden Year, friend!
