To be lost in a love which seems to promise an escape from mere space and time...

Paddling downstream in the silence
of a famished night - a night which
seeks to dissolve all material things
into a soup of eternal emptiness -
we let ourselves imagine clouds on
the moon.

Standing barefoot on
the rocks of time, sublime gusts send
us spinning like tumbleweeds, bouncing
across the lunar landscape. An inverted
sun, a Raven's eye, knows that we
embrace for more than love... knows
that we have so many songs in our
hearts for one another.

You tell me that
there is a castle to be found there.
Made of only starlight. No frothing
night, no watching eye can assail it.
No winds can demolish the walls
which come together as we bind our
hands on this most Heavenly satellite.

We let ourselves imagine clouds on
the moon.
