What If The World Never Meets Your Characters? (title of an email I received)

Then I will take them with me, to places they are loved, beyond the ignorant ways of the human mind. They will go to places where they will be understood, and have their stories told to those who will listen. They will be welcomed and cherished, and they will be given a space to relax. They will lie down with me, feeling the burden of life leave their being, and know that they have done everything they could. They will feel the most peaceful sleep take hold of their bones, relieving them of weight and pressure. They will feel themselves get lighter and lighter as the world finally eases its grip on their throats, giving them just one last chance to breathe.
And with this breath I will promise them that beyond the ruthless mortal plain lies a place where they will be loved. The light at the end of the darkest tunnel is not an ending, but a gift. I will gift them this chance to stand on their own feet, use their own voices, tell their own stories, without misconstruing them to fit the demands of human kind.
I will take them with me to these places, or perhaps they will take me, and we will lie in blissful wait for those who will listen to find us. And they that do will find themselves in a wonderful place, where all is loved and all is heard, away from the ignorant ways of human life
