An Acrostic Poem on Pain and Grief.

How my heart aches for you of
Every moment of every day.
As it holds your memories within me, it
Reaches deep within my soul, as you are touching my heart.
The pain at times is so unbearable, it makes me wonder will there
Be a time this may lessen; As it
Rips at my very soul not being able to share with you, what should have been
Our Golden Years, which no longer exists.
Knotted in time, I feel the pull of you as you’ve
Entered into my very essence. Wishing, Wanting, Hoping that I can eventually
Numb the pain, until we are once again together and whole. For it is the broken heart that needs to mend but which may never.
