He kept you safe from the world, but who will save you from Him? A dialogue with... |
| Voice Out I, myself—yes me, yes you, I am talking to you. What are those things you treasure? What are they? What do you value? Fear, trauma, agony—that feeling in your gut that is just so arghhh. What is it? Is that what is holding you back? That feeling of wanting to scream, yell, shout, Voice out. To let it all escape makes you uncomfortable. You desperately want it out, you want it all gone, you want freedom, you want joy. You want to be empty. But you can’t seem to be able to. You have numbed yourself to this feeling. It is what you have become. Letting go is losing yourself. This "you" that protects himself... making it seem like he is protecting the real you. But what are those things you treasure? What do you value? He cares. He knows to leave, but he is too scared to. He loves you, your treasure, and your value, but He still has to protect himself. What do you do? He is you, but not who you are. He is one who cares about you, your treasure, and values most, but He is still not you. He has kept you safe, kept you moving, but with costs to your treasure and values. A cost which continues to grow—a cost that cannot afford to grow. But He loves you. He realized that, and is willing to grow. He is growing, because of His love for you, your treasure, your value. But Time just happens to be catching up. His growth is progressive but lacks urgency, which is danger and solitude, unfulfillment, and so much worse than other dangers. But the one you fear, you hate, and would regret, is losing your treasures and values. He is growing. He has kept you safe. He has shielded you. He is protection. Overprotective. He is who you have learned to be, who you have become, but still not the you He is keeping from the world—the true you, your original. And He is growing. Do you let Him grow, watch Him grow, help Him grow, and shape Him into the best of you both? Or do you let Him go, and be the real you, and be your ideal You? But do you have TIME? For it seems to be catching up every passing second. |
