This is the second Blake Pierce book I’ve read, and I have to say I enjoyed this a lot more than the last.

The characters of Kate Wise and her partner Agent DeMarco really come to life, and I love the way they interact with each other. They are a great duo, and I’m definitely up for reading more of their stories.

In this one, we see the Agents trying to catch a killer who is killing couples in their homes and stuffing a piece of blanket down the women’s throats. How are the victims connected, and how will the two female agents catch the killer?

I like the pace with which this plot moves. It feels as though you are moving in time with Wise and DeMarco.

I enjoyed this.

People who enjoy psychological thrillers.

The characters of Wise and De Marco. Also, the pacing is spot on.

There were moments I got a little bit bored. Not too many of those, though.
