Hi everyone! I have been writing poetry for the past year,so I am pretty new to this world. I have just finished a poetry class that was very helpful. I started out mimicking Dr. Seuss poetry. The simple rhyme and repetition gave me courage to write and others liked my work. Although I am like everyone else, it would be nice to be published, I am writing because it is an outlet for my emotions. I am not attached to any outcome. I am anxious to get started and communicate with others.
