I'm a 51-year old retired 911 first responder. I retired early due to injury. To pass some time, I volunteer at a shelter for the homeless. I also write some poetry, and short stories. I am not a trained writer, but I learn from reading, and self-study. I hope that my membership with Writing.com will improve my writing skills.
