Back in the Midwest
I have recently relocated to the Midwest and more deeper into the middle where I'm happy and content. I followed my heart and the back roads, literally. I've always been a country gal and it don't get more country than this. I live off the gravel roads, up on a hill, surrounded by nature's privacy. I am hoping this peace will calm the soul that has been severely troubled for over a year. It's hard to write when your own muse has even given up on yah, but I'm hoping my new life will change that.
Moreso poetry, I don't consider myself a 'writer' of stories, my poems tell stories on their own.
Poetry forms of all sorts. I love the Haiku structure, the standard 5-7-5 syllable. I like to then create chains of them.
Wolves, cats, horses (I love riding), snow, rain and thunderstorms, hockey, walks through the woods, just getting in my Jeep and take a back road and see where it leads, or doesn't. *chuckles*
