Hi, I’m Sean, a new writer from Tipton, England with a background in emergency services. I’ve always loved stories with strong subtext, emotional weight and subtle details that reveal themselves over time. Fantasy is my favourite genre, but I enjoy suspense and thrillers too. I’ve run a D&D campaign for over six years and recently began writing creatively for myself. I’m here to grow, connect, and hopefully one day earn a place on your bookshelf |
Fantasy, character-first, emotionally grounded. Drawn to stories with meaning beneath the surface and moments that linger. |
Subtle emotive and layered with quiet tension. Focused on character perspective realism and themes of hope grief & belonging |
Fantasy fiction, character development, D&D, film analysis, story structure, symbolism, foreshadowing, psychology, mythology, folklore, dark humour, long walks, Yorkshire tea, late-night writing, & talking far too long about what things really meant. |

Fantasy, Thriller, Horror. |
I’ve always enjoyed the Discworld books with Rincewind, the worlds worst wizard (who I sympathise with) especially for their humour and heart. More recently I’ve been reading Sanderson’s Stormlight Archive and loving the depth and worldbuilding |
Terry Pratchett for humour and humanity, Brandon Sanderson for worldbuilding, Stephen King for tension and voice, and Patrick Rothfuss for lyrical prose. J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter series was a huge early influence. Tolkien obviously. |
Rudyard Kipling is the standout one for me, although I dont read enough poetry by far. |
“There’s some good in this world, Mr. Frodo, and it’s worth fighting for.” - Not technically from the book, but it’s always stayed with me. |
Bit of anything really, From Nu / Death Metal to Elton John and everything in between |
All three LOTRs, 90% of Star Wars. Huge Cinephile. |
The Sopranos, Breaking Bad, Only fools and Horses, Band of Brothers. |
