My pen name is from my father whose pen name was Ben Haye. I was born in Philadelphia the youngest of 3 children. Graduated high school in Jun. 1971. Joined the Navy in Oct.1971. Got married in Sept.1974. Had my son in Philadelphia in 1976 and my daughter in Long Beach in 1978. I served as a Torpedoman’s Mate & Navy Counselor, as a Police Chief & Criminal Investigator with collateral duties as Evidence Custodian and Internal Affairs Investigator. I served 22 years, retiring to Florida in 1994.

I like to write short stories, poetry and commentaries about Bible issues (I am an avid Bible reader).

My family and grandchildren, watching football, watching movies, playing video games on my tablet and spending time with my family and friends at our local American Legion.
