Just for the record, as someone who lives in Los Angeles (and relatively close to some of the "hot spot" areas), the protests both prior to and during the "No Kings" events were neither riots nor insurrections.

There were definitely some incidents of specific individuals taking things too far (like the widespread images being circulated of a couple driverless cars being set on fire), but the protest activity was — and continues to be — entirely within the ability of the LAPD and LASD to manage without the need for additional reinforcements from the federal government. The leadership of both of those law enforcement organizations (which are two of the largest and best-funded in the country) has said as much, and I've had friends at those protests who have all reported that the activity was mostly nonviolent aside from those few isolated incidents.

It's definitely a serious situation to be sure, but I thought it was worth commenting on because Los Angeles is not experiencing nearly the level of chaos and disorder as certain media outlets and political operatives would like you to believe. Take it from someone who lives here and is able to go about their business as usual!

Yes, do you blog now? I scrolled down and I didn't see any comments or likes. That would be discouraging for me. I wonder if you change the rating if that would help you get exposure. Someone else said the other day that their blog wasn't listed as active and the answer was the blog's rating.

Serious situation!

Wow! So much is happening every day, especially in Israel and the California riots. Trump has proceeded to dispatch the National Guard and the Marines to deal with the insurrections. Some federal judges have blocked his attempts to do so in other states. These judges are Democrat, far left nuisances who apparently want the violence to escalate. It is good that the Democratic base is experiencing all time approval lows, which is much deserved. On the economical landscape, the Big Beautiful Bill is going through revisions and hopefully it will pass in the House and the Senate. Also the friction between Musk and Trump has dematerialized for the most part. Musk recanted on some of his statements on X.

Doubtless there is a force or party is behind the California mobs. People have been paid to do these horrific acts. Moreover, tomorrow is the day when the evil violent, national mobs are supposed to make a country wide uprising. My mom and I have been praying against the evil plan. I can't believe the Dems are saying the California situation is totally peaceful! Hello! Did we not see the videos and the visual proof! What are we witnessing here! The people are not stupid and the Dems don't realize that. lol. The democratic party is essentially self-destructing. The truth is that they seek the demise of the US. They want a borderless, worldwide global government. May God in His mercy sustain the US.
