There is a road by me with woods and the trees are beautiful like New England. I almost forget I live in Indiana. I am going to enjoy my days. I love autumn but not winter. I do enjoy autumn. |
| We live each day as it comes. Life isn't always kind. Illnesses. The politicians. Ww try to be thankful for everything good. I pray and go to Church when I can. Hope everyone is doing well with their life. |
| Prompt: Joy asked us about cousins. Do we have some we like? I have cousins on Dad's side of the family. I have 4 cousins I care about and one I am close to. We text all the time. This cousin has a brother and sister I have a bond with. His sister's son I have been close to. The one male cousin has been there for me when my parents died. On Mom's side, I have 2 cousins. The one is like my sister and since Mom died, we are together a lot. Her sister and I are trying to bond. I guess all we can do is try to love cousins we don't care for. It is good to have cousins you love. |
| I am enjoying the WDC Birthday Celebration. We took our cat to the Vet. She has been scratching. She has allergies. She got a antibiotic shot and allergy shot. It got chilly. 60 some Degrees. I need to clean house this weekend. Wishing everyone a good weekend. |
| Prompt: On this day in 1976, the first episode of The Muppet Show, which was cocreated by Jim Hensen, aired and the TV series became hugely popular, known for a cast of puppet characters that included Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy. Did you see it when it originally aired? Which character is your favorite? What fun facts do you know about the Muppets? I love The Muppets. I watched it since it first aired. I watched it after I had my son a year later. He loved it. Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy were my favorites. I loved Statler and Waldorf, the hecklers. I loved when Luke Skywalker, C3P0 and R2D2 were on there. I loved when Alice Cooper was on the show. I loved Foozie Bear. This show made me laugh and kept my son entertained. Me, too. I loved the opening theme. It's time to play the music. It's time to put on make up. It's time to light the lights. I was ready to be entertained. I was at the Mall and my son was in his stroller and saw Kermit the Frog sheets. He took them off the shelf and put them in the stroller, I bought them. I had to buy the matching comforter as well. He had to have a stuffed Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy. I have Kermit, Miss Piggy Christmas Ornaments and a ceramic Miss Piggy. Fun Facts: Kermit was made out of a coat and ping pong balls. They had trouble finding guests. Not everyone wanted to appear on the Muppets Show. They didn't want to act with puppets, Muppets. Rowlf, the Dog was on Jimmy Dean before The Muppets came out. He was used for dog food commercials. Statler and Woldorf were named after hotels in New York. They were cute old men. Grover first made his appearance on Ed Sullivan. Miss Piggy appeared on six magazine covers. Gonzo rode motorcycles. Scooter's owner owned The Muppet Theatre. I love Sesame Street, too. Big Bird. Bert and Ernie. Snuffleupagus. The Muppets kept kids entertained and Sesame Street was entertaining. I love The Muppets and all the old memories of them. |
| My cousin and I went to Lake Michigan and shopping. The Lake was brown and not very happy but it was still pretty. I was glad I got to go. We stayed and looked at the rain for a half hour. A couple of seagulls were flying around. A pretty Lake scene. We went to Kate Spade and I got a nee, beige leather purse, Kate Spade cologne and a gumball necklace with colorful gems. I bought my cousin some pearl earrings. Ww went to TJMax. I bought a nice silver, sparkle bag and a neat gold heart necklace. We ate at Panera. We finally got rain today. It was a good day. |
| We go forward. My cousin and I canceled our trip last week. I hope we can go to Lake Michigan tomorrow and Kate Spade Store. I vacuumed today. I got something done. Going to rain later tomorrow night. How is your week going? |
| September. I was thinking of Neil Diamond 's song September Morning. Today was a good day. I got my kitchen cleaned. My husband bought home my Smile Trash Can from Mom's house. We found letters Dad had written to Mom when he was in the Air Force. Some good memories. The WDC Birthday Celebration continues. I am loving it. My husband and I had our Cook Out. | I was going to clean the kitchen and I got lazy. I was going to clean the kitchen the past 3 days. Tomorrow is Labor Day, so I can labor. I will clean the kitchen. WDC Anniversary Birthday Celebration. I can't wait to see the activities and new Merit Badges. I am like a kid at Christmas. I have 2 forums myself here for the Birthday Activity.
I have been watching The Mod Squad on DVDS. I love this show. Any other Mod Squad Fans besides me? I am taking a break tonight from watching this show.. I gave my kitty fresh water. I gave her dry food. No rain until Wednesday. We do need it. Florida and other states get rain but not Indiana. Cookout Day. My husband is having steak. I am having hot dogs, cheeseburgers and chips.
