My kitty Bella is sweet, sleeps with me when I first go to bed. She is distant when she chooses to be. She grooms constantly. She was a lot of company in the day when I worked midnights. Bella was my best friend. She loves me. I feed her, give her a good home and toys. She wants for nothing. I love cats and animals more then people. Love me, love my cat. |
| Prompt: Joy asked about our thoughts on empathy. Empathy. We feel for others and what they go through. A friend lost her baby years ago and I wanted to be there for her but all I could do was cry. I feel sorry for the homeless, everyone going through floods, fires, the wars overseas. I feel for the abused animals and wish I could make a difference. I am very sensitive and caring. I pray God will make things better for everyone. Empathy. I have a lot of that. |

We like to understand things and wisdom is like being smart. It is. We need wisdom to get through life. Understanding people and reasons for things happening. Judgement. Wisdom is a way of life or maybe it it is life. Wisdom let's us know we are alive. It never hurts ti be too smart or have wisdom. |
| We got 2 inches of rain. We got thunder. The farmer's crops should make it. I did laundry today. My husband went to a tractor show. Not very exciting. The rain was the highlight of the day. I watched The Breakfast Club. I watched The Partridge Family, Silver Spoons and Sabrina The Teenaged Witch. I hope to go to Church. We do need Church in our lives. How are things your way? |
| My friend and I went out shopping today. We went to Kohls. We didn't find anything. We went to Home Goods. I bought some flower folders and a flower jewelry holder. We ate at Panara. They have good tuna sandwiches and baked goodies. My friend had to cut the trip short. She had a Cards Party to go to. I got Data and Dpot ornament in the mail. So cute. I hope to have a quiet weekend. |
| I saw my Oncologist. My blood tests results were good. He even checked for other things as well. I think he did blood tests for organs I didn't know I had. I told him I wanted to see him for my needs and not his NP. Je agreed. It was 70 Degrees but darling clouds. No rain. Just a couple of drops if that counts. I got my Hallmark Snoopy and Woodstock telephone ornament in the mail today. It talks and ut is cute. Trying to have good days. Thanks for reading. |
| We got a brief rain shower. We keep getting teaser showers. I cleaned the kitchen today. I am hoping to write a story but my muse must be suffering from the 91 Degrees heat we have been having. At work, we had to go to different files and windows to do things. We did everything online. That was a pain. I love my phone but I hate when the phone is upgrading and it changes things on your phone and adds apps you don't need. I enjoy taking pictures with my phone. I enjoy using the internet on my phone. It is nice to check the weather and get emails as well as use the internet. DVD movies. I love watching movies. We have a generator that comes on as soon as the power goes out. That is good. Technology makes life convenient. I would be lost without it. |
| The plumber was here and installed our new faucet in the bathroom. I cleaned out the junk underneath the sink and on the counter. It looks nice. It may rain today. We need it. A busy day today. We need to get new glasses. We are going to the jewelry store. I have been waiting a long time to buy a special diamond for me. Mom is in my thoughts. My husband bought home some more of her journals. She wasn't a writer but she wrote things about her life everyday. I do miss her. How was your day? |

Not always feeling well. People not treating you right. In the arms of the angels. I believe in angels. I would like to think they are there for me. A sad song. Angels can comfort you. We played that song at Mom's funeral. Over the rainbow is Heaven. I would love to see Heaven when I leave this world. Everyone is happy and things are perfect there. Dreams Of The Everyday Housewife By Glen Campbell. Glen Campbell is my favorite singer. Well was. I play this song and remember my life before I was married. I had some lousy ex-boyfriends but there was one or two who were nice. I used to dance around thinking of good times. I had a good childhood even though my father went to Vietnam three times. Mom and I stayed with her parents. They were good times. I have been a housewife for a lot of years. I still have dreams. I do have a good marriage. What Doesn't Kill You Makes You Stronger, Live A Little Longer By Kelly Clarkson. I almost died from bowel obstruction surgery in 2013. When ever things are bad in my life, this song comes to mind. Knee replacement. Mom dying. A blood clot in my lung. This song has been like my theme song years and still is. I am still here and thanking God. These are some of the theme songs in my life. |
