Howdy, howdy to all the fine, lovely people here. Glad that the day has gone by peacefully, anyway. Under 30 days until moving day. I'm just going with the flow. Today's dinner was pork chops, mashed potatoes, baked beans, and applesauce. Dessert was strawberries and bananas.
Didn't over indulge, so that's good. Working on some crochet stuffs and working on the "7s" of course.

A couple of passings that surprised me. The other day was Malcolm-Jamal Warner, who played son Theo from the Cosby Show. He was only 54. Now, rock legend and media personality Ozzy Ozbourne. They say death comes in three's Not sure who "they" is in this case, but I hope they are wrong.

I hope everyone has a good evening & a Happy Hump Day tomorrow.

For Australians, it started on July 19 with the death of Bobby Bright (one half of Babby and Laurie). So we've had our three... *Frown*
Good night!
Boy this weekend has flown! 2 Dr. appts this week, but feeling confident. Also working on a stash-buster crochet blanket...yes another one. I hope everyone has a good week. Will be lurking here and there.

Have a wonderful week, AmyJo! *Heartp*
Stash-buster crochet blanket? Aren't you like 30?
Just going about my day. If you like American Civil War history, the following poem is pretty cool.

The university I attended in Chattanooga was an easy drive away from the Chickamauga Battlefield. Very good read.
Howdy, Howdy!

First, doing some packing in preparation for moving. Still in Lubbock, just across town. Also, just so you know, I may end up losing some of my portfolio due to moving costs and not being able to renew right away. But it is what it is. Just end up starting over, I guess. So if you cannot find something, that's what may have happened. I won't be going away, just gonna be delayed somewhat.

There's Portfolio Export function (available in both the Portfolio and Writing.Com Tools menus) that you can use to take a copy of your work to your computer. That way you don't lose things when your membership level downgrades.
You're in Texas too!
Dave Ryan Author Icon - yep. It's handy, I've had to do that a few times.
Since Anniversary Reviews are on hiatus for a bit, I've been doing the Read & Review port for my reviewing credits. I've found some wonderful reads in there.

Read & Review works just fine, as do the Browse By Type or Genre tabs. Also, Anniversary Reviews may be on hiatus for credits, but the various sigs are still available for use, if you happen to review someone during their anniversary month. *Wink*
I'm still doing anniversary reviews (am up to 21 for this month) because it feels good to reward people for their WdC anniversaries. But I use Read & Review as well when I need a break from writing for 1/2 an hour or so.
Ok dr visit to re-wrap the legs. Turns out that the President has bad legs too *FacePalm* Apparently veins and their failure are no respecter of persons.

Keep reminding us. I want to enter. I keep forgetting.
Almost 5am, so a little better today, sleep wise. I get my bandages off my legs today, and then to redressed, with a change on Wednesday, then back to the dr. on Friday. Nothing like feeling a bit trussed up...LOL.

Some people pay good money to feel a bit trussed up...

That reminds me to tie my Clematis up to the trellis.
Cool animation this morning. I had a "cat nap" and now I'm up again *FacePalm*
Happy Weekend All you lovely people! Dinner is cooked, and I'm about to finish my "7s" for the day. It is a gloomy-gus kind of day with rain expected all weekend and into the week. I don't know what's up with the weather, but "CALM DOWN" already! *FacePalm*

Shenanigans are afoot! Thank you, Anonymous, for the gps. Always appreciated!

Doctor's appt at Wound Care went ok. Deep veins are good, and clear of clots. Arteries look good, but the surface veins are failing and causing swelling. They have me in compression bandages, and I may be having a procedure for getting rid of the bad veins...never heard of it before today, so I'm a little anxious about it, but if it will help me with my legs, then I'm willing to go through it. It would be nice to have non-swollen legs and feet again.

I had a procedure called a vein ablation. They go in and close the bad vein an it routs the blood to other veins. Wasn't bad..done in office then went home.
Doing some packing and little odds and ends getting ready for our move. Have a doctor's appointment at the wound center for my legs. Hoping that can get them taken care of. Appreciate everyone here.
