I'm back ... sort of. Out of a group of nine who went on the Alaskan cruise, seven of us returned sick. Started with an intestinal bug and ended with a cold. I can't taste my coffee this morning. *Frown*
Alaska is beautiful though. Was glad I had a balcony room to enjoy the mountains and glaciers.

Just found out one of our group in the hospital this evening with Hepatitis A. *Sad*

I just got back from camping in an area where I had no cell reception and wasn't able to log in ... the first time in probably over two years. Guess what? I'm still alive. Breaking my streak didn't hurt like I thought it might! It was actually quite freeing!

I'm all set now for when I go on my Alaskan cruise at the end of August and won't be signing in because I didn't buy the very expensive wi-fi package. I'll be free of the internet world for a week. *Smile*

I've been trying to limit myself on when I use my phone and the internet. Though I don't consider WdC to be that bad, there's a lot of "brain rot" we get trapped in through our phones. I've had a much clearer head since I started limiting my time spent on the internet.
