My fantastic news Friday just went flushing down. Wife was rushed from the Nursing Rehab center back to the Hospital. Labored breathing, High WBC @18, Creatnine at 3.1. Irregular heartbeat and that's not including the long covid, COPD of her lungs. This time she may not make it. Worse I've ever seen her. *Cry*

Praying for you both. I went through something similar with my mom. I was her healthcare power of attorney. Whe the time came I had to sign the DNR for her she begged me. They wouldn't let her.

I'm my wife's power of attorney. I'm surprised they wouldn't let your mom sign it but this the first time I'm facing this. My wife isn't awake long enough to, if she wanted. Why we both had discussed this some time ago what we each wished.
