As a teacher, I was active in union affairs, but as an administrator, I really didn't participate except for paying dues and voting. I always supported the staff unions (i.e., custodians, clericals, kitchen staff), including refusing to cross their rare picket lines.

I thought I was the only person on the planet who never dines under the Arches --- except when I'm at the "little burger" place in St. Louis. *Wink*
I'm on vacation now in Taiping, Malaysia and when on vacation in these small towns in Malaysia it is pretty frowned upon to eat at any fast food restaurant because small town food is absolutely delicious. *Shock2*

Elycia Lee ☮ Author Icon - I'm a big fan of 'mom & pop' businesses, especially coffee shops and diners. For more than two years, I're rarely patronized chain chow places and mega-stores.

I'd love to visit Maylasia someday!
