Headed back to the ER in the hopes I can get them to DO something other than send me home. Going to request a nephrology consult in the ER and see if they will do a surgery
Stick to your guns. It's been my wife's and my experience that getting a good diagnosis for which test may be needed comes down to a bit of luck. Doctors being swamped at the ER may not be the right road. I hope they can refer you to the correct department or specialist.
I was lucky. My surgery for kidney cancer was one week ago that started from a pain in my abdomen in December resulting in seven different tests. I kept pushing until one doctor listened.
