If every dog has its day what exactly is that day and why don’t humans get one. I mean don’t we humans deserve a special day to help ease away all the stress of daily life.

Cats have every day.
The saying "every dog has its day" is actually an idiom that means everyone will have a moment of success or good fortune, even after a long period of bad luck. It suggests that good things will eventually happen to everyone.
The phrase has been around for centuries, and it likely comes from the idea that even a humble or downtrodden person will eventually have their turn in the spotlight. It's about a moment of triumph, not a specific 24-hour period.
So, while we might not get a designated "day" like the dogs in the idiom, the saying itself suggests that we absolutely do get our moment of glory or relief. The challenge is that our lives are often so full of stress that it can feel like our "day" is a long time coming.

Which reminds me to fall fertilize soon. Then, leaves, possible snow, drought, Gulf submerges 20 feet, volcano, earthquake, tsunami, 20 foot high storm surge, half of California floats away to North Korea, my dog from 1976 returns home, and I rise from the dead to write another day. Weeds in spring, eternal.

But, what do I know, with my sunglasses on at midnight pleading, “locusts!” on one muddy knee? Pray?
