My heart is bursting with happiness right now! I am so honored to have you pick my poem as a second place winner! Thank you! My poem was about a friend that recently was beaten to being brain dead by her fiance and she left behind 2 teen daughters. It is such a sad thing and awareness needs raised everyday!!

Happy Valentines Day Mona!!! Don't eat too much candy...ummm like I've been doing since early this morning! LOL..Too much chocolate might explain why tum tum not feeling too well. At my age you would think I'd know better! *Cry* Sending lots of *Hug*'s and *Heart* your way my friend!
So starting last weekend I gave myself an every weekend Challenge to try different types of poetry. I just posted last weekend's Challenge (Pantoum). I had to relearn this awesome poetry form, because it's been 13 years since I wrote my 1st Pantoum poem! This weekend's Challenge is...Acrostic!!
