Childhood Guilty Pleasures

When I was a young kid, I used to love the original Power Rangers. But now, looking back, I see how corny and ridiculous it was as a show and can't help but think, "How was I a fan of this?"

Are there any cartoons/shows/films you used to love as a child, but now as an adult, you're like "oh man, this is embarrassing. I actually liked watching this?"

I won't judge anyone for their answers. We were all young once, and we all have embarrassing memories we wish we could forget. Feel free to share your entertainment of choice from yesteryear.

Ironically a case of not liking it during my snotty teenage years and appreciating it more as an adult watching Inspector Gadget as a teenager I was like 'Inspector Gadget is a complete idiot! I can't believe I liked this as a kid!' Now I'm grown-up I appreciate the show for what it is
Perry Mason. I didn’t get control of the TV until we had cable. So, there was children’s tv programming?

Thank you Law & Order for procedural…can’t get enough of that…26 years. I guess tv is…dead?

I can’t find any RCA ports on the flat panel to hook up my VCR. *Confused*

You guys know I live in a bunker, right?
Twiga Author Icon, for a bit, Inspector Gadget came after The Space Giants, so we watched that, too. Again, I watched it because of my brother. The weird thing is, I'm the older sister. I guess there wasn't anything better on in the mornings. Lol
Wanna Hear a Joke?

A Frenchman, an Englishman, an Irishman and an American are all captured by a terrorist group. The leader says to them "The bad news is we're going to kill you. But the good news is we are a fair people, and are going to grant you each one last request."

The Frenchman: "I want to hear a thousand orchestras playing the French national anthem."

The Englishman: "I want to hear a thousand choirs singing God Save the Queen."

The Irishman: "I want to see a thousand Irish dancers performing the Riverdance."

The American: "Kill me first."

Happy anniversary 🎂🎉🎂🎉🎂
So, funny story: a few weeks ago I was babysitting my 7 year old niece. She says to me "So what are we gonna do today?" I couldn't resist, and responded "The same thing we do every day, try to take over the world!"

I knew she wouldn't get the joke, but I just had to say it anyway. And guess what she said next?

"Okay, lets do that!"

LOL

I get it too! Been busy lately, haven't you? Me, I just got my own house this summer!
ThunderX Author Icon - That's awesome! Congratulations! Yes I have been busy, mostly with personal stuff. Sorry for the repeated delays on the campfires, it can't be helped.
Pinky and The Brain. I love that cartoon and often repeat that catch phrase.
I've added a new item to my portfolio:
Life Aboard Eden-0 Open in new Window. (18+)
The last human in existence spends eternity on a space station full of various aliens.
Hello friends. May I ask you for advice? I have been playing video games as a hobby since roughly the age of five. I don't regret it one bit. But lately, I've been starting to think how it's been distracting me from being more productive. I never thought I'd say this, but I'm actually considering cutting games from my life all together, so I can focus on other more important stuff.

I have a bad habit of procrastinating, and I hope this will motivate me to break it. Anybody think I should go through through with this? I know it's really up to me, but I still would value your input.

ThunderX Author Icon - Yeah, sorry about the wait. I'll try to write something this weekend.
Johnny Foxx Author Icon - You mean like the campfires we haven't worked on in a while?
ThunderX Author Icon - That, plus a new one I have an idea for.
Attention TCG and RPG fans!

Anybody have experience in developing trading card games and/or tabletop games? Or at least know someone who does? If so, please contact me, because I'm currently looking for partners to help with an idea I have for such a product. I have a concept for a sort of sci-fi fantasy, tabletop roleplaying/trading card game, but no idea how to go about making it a reality.

If anyone is interested, please message me and we can discuss the details. If successful, I will be sure to share any due credit and profits with said contributors.
Honest question for all my regular readers and fans: which of my works would you say is the best I've written so far? I genuinely want to know.
I mostly enjoy your Deadly Like a Fox (Reboot) story.
I was leaning toward Adventures in Arcadia.
My current employer is making way for a new company to take over. From what I hear, their standards are ridiculous, so I figure I'll be better off finding a new job. Already applied for a position at a movie theater near me. Here's hoping I get it.

Good luck. Let us know how it goes.
I have multiple interactive items that I've had just gathering dust, and I think they could really be great stories if given more attention. But I can't do it all by myself. I'm putting out this notice for anybody interested in teaming up with me that would be willing to add to my interactives with me. In other words, I'm looking for writing partners.

So if you genuinely enjoy my works, which typically focus on anthropomorphic animals and mythical creatures, or you're just plain bored, send me a reply and we'll work out the details.

I will happily reward anybody willing to lend me a hand, of course. I think you'll find I can be most generous in that regard. Whether you want GPs, reviews of specific items, or additions to your own stories, I'm more than willing to provide.

However, I will not add to stories with certain themes, such as anything of an overly graphic nature, or anything that is generally considered gross, offensive or immoral. Anyone who wishes me to contribute to such stories need not apply.

Friendly Neighborhood Derg Author Icon - Alright then. Let me know when you find something. Just note, I would really like to work more on my lesser stories. So anything with a good amount of adds already doesn't need more focus right now.
Johnny Foxx Author Icon - Ok. Which interactives do you want prioritized?
Hello, friends and fans! Guess what? Today is my birthday! If anybody feels like gifting me anything, I would really appreciate a good addition to my newest interactive.
The God Complex Open in new Window. (13+)
What happens to the old gods when mortals no longer believe in them?

ThunderX Author Icon - I read it. Nice job! Thanks a lot!
Johnny Foxx Author Icon - What did you like about it?
