The Ninjas need to get more organized, so they're setting up a Mischief Schedule organized by the day of the week. Here's What They've Planned So Far: Monday – Monkey Mayhem Monday! A monkey may invade a portfolio or two, create a review, send an award, or feature an author. Tuesday – Toss-A-Pie Tuesday! Based on responses to Ninja Newsfeed Challenges, the Ninjas will Toss a Banana Cream Pie at Select member(s). Selection(s) will be made by a Dice Roll Wednesday – Wacky Challenge Wednesday The Ninjas will create a wacky Newsfeed Challenge. If you participate, you'll get a small prize and be entered in the next Toss-A-Pie Tuesday dice roll. Thursday – Ninja Trinkey (sic) Thursday The Ninja Monkeys will create and share a Trinket, or as they call them, A Trinkey. You may have to jump over a barrel to reach them!! Friday – Ninja's Freaky Friday The Ninja Monkeys will share a Monkey fact, it might be true or it might be a load of Rotten Bananas. You'll tell us which to win a small prize! Saturday Shhh!!! When Congress voted for independence on July 2, 1776, Adams declared that date would be “celebrated, by succeeding Generations ... with Pomp and Parade.” It turns out that the Declaration wasn’t adopted until two days later. Hence, July 4th stuck. The Liberty Bell didn’t ring in freedom that day; it was too fragile. Despite the legend, the bell wasn’t rung on July 4, 1776. Today, it gets a gentler treatment: it’s symbolically tapped 13 times, once for each of the original colonies. Only two people signed the Declaration of Independence on July 4th. Most people think that all the Founding Fathers signed on the big day, but only John Hancock and Charles Thomson did. Everyone else joined the party later, most in August. Let’s talk hot dogs.
