It's Good Friday and time for my annual 16-mile walk into the wilderness. The forecast is actually good this year. Amazing. It is a deeply spiritual day, but also one where I gather moose poop since there is usually plenty to be had in this area. Here's to a blessed Easter weekend and a bountiful moose dropping harvest. May all your poop be plentiful as well. "Father, into your hands I commit my spirit." Luke 23:46
Made the big switch today. Traded my Droid for the iPhone 5, my first-ever Apple product purchase. I feel like such a traitor.

I feel such shame. But it is the start of Easter week and I will seek forgiveness for my sins. I think there's an app for that.

I weep at the loss of yet another Droid bailer. I will admit my Droid can't compare the new iPhone, but at the same time, I am unwilling to dish out the cash to afford it. That, and I don't mind backing the horse that consistently comes in 2nd or 3rd instead of 1st.

Reply| Today is the day of the annual benefit golf tournament I play every year, followed by an evening outdoor concert. Probably my only round of golf for the summer. Supposed to be 99 degrees with possible t-storms. I'll remember the old joke....if caught in a lightning storm, hold up your one-iron because even God can't hit a one-iron. Oh yeah...I don't own a one-iron. Hope I still exist tomorrow. It IS Friday the 13th. |
