Brain fog is real, guys. I am having some health issues. I have to laugh at myself sometimes because life is too short to cry about everything. Today I sent my Take Up Your Cross blog prompts to the Space Blog group. OOPS! Well, maybe I should post a little about what is going on with me since I did that. A little bit of a back story, I had lost my medical insurance and had to get it back and straightened out. In the process of that, my primary doctor was changed. Before I had my doctor's appointment yesterday, I ran out of pretty much all my medications a couple weeks ago. On top of that, I have a broken tooth making it hard to eat and have just been feeling icky. Fast forward to yesterday when I finally got in to see the new doctor and come to find out I have a double ear infection on top of all of that. So, she ran some blood tests and refilled my meds. It may take me a little bit to regain my health again. My diabetes is not under control and a lot of my blood work has come back abnormal. I am still waiting to hear from the doctor about what it all means. So, if I am not myself for a little while, you will all know why. |
Lazy Writer est 4/24/2008  - i can feel your pain. I have been suffering from fibromyalgia since a horrific jogging accident in 1996 when i almost lost my leg and my life and had 14 operations. Ever since then, I have lived with mild to severe pain that never really goes away. This includes fibro brain fog as well |

| Thank you for highlighting my old poem written in 2005 and one of the first I posted here at WDC. It has garnered 1,831 views and 34 reviews. I haven't edited... but rereading it I could tweak it a tad. If I ever formally publish it I might. My cousin has since died but I think of her whenever I purchase patchouli. |
| I have created a contest that I intend to start in August. I need to do a fundraiser. I am thinking I want to make virtual WDC gift baskets to either sell or auction off. I know we can do mbs, gift points, c-notes, awardicons, reviews, and that sort of thing. Those of you who have done fundraisers before, Should I create the forum for the fundraiser and then ask for donations to get it started? I could use some advice or experienced instruction here. I am also considering waiting for WDC birthday month of September to also launch the contest and fundraiser. What do you guys think? |
submitting a birthday month activity to The StoryMaster   or The StoryMistress  can get it advertised on party central. Then everyone will know about it and be more likely to participate. I think starting your contest as a part of the birthday celebration is a great idea. Also you could ask for donations of exclusive merit badges. I might be able to volunteer one or two for packages. |
