Well, it took me a bit over 3 hrs. to update
but it's done. YAY! I should NOT let myself get so far behind! We had 3 winners of the challenge to do all 10 contests so congratulations to dogpack saving 4premium+, Soldier_Mike, and Chilly Charles 🎄 for their hard work! Here are the December contest options:

Oops! Mistakes Over at
Well, when I'm in charge, you get what you get. lol The first "contest" previously listed was apparently a bank, but now I've replaced it with the actual contest. I apologize for the error.

Has the November Round of
Been Updated in the Forum and GPs Dispersed Yet? No -- But It Will Happen, Eventually. Have the New Contests Contests Been Posted for December? Yes -- Finally, Barely Are They All Open Yet? IDK. Stop Asking Me Questions! I had to replace all the contests. Let's not get into who might have forgotten to send out reminders in November, But also, what are the odds that not 1 contest owner is around from any December contest? Higher than I'd imagined, TBH. Anyway, the contests are up and will be open soon, if they aren't already!

Does anyone know if I buy a Visa gift card for someone in a foreign country, but I buy a virtual one through Amazon, can they use it in their country just fine for most online purchases, even though I bought it from the US Amazon store? |
| N.A Miller Plus, member who needed an overseas bill paid, turns out the recipient won't accept a Visa gift card from Amazon, perhaps because it won't work in their country or perhaps because it sounds like WE are the scammers. lol |
| DOH! I just realized this wasn't directed at me, N.A Miller |
AI Writers/Users Make More?!? Here's a survey of writers using AI. Turns out those who use it tend to make more money than those who don't. The video says those who shun AI tend to be those who don't use it (per the survey). Though I know in S🤦♂️'s case, he's very anti-AI but has openly said he's tested AI a year or so ago, which is fair. You shouldn't say you hate a tool you've never used. But AI has improved a TON in the last year! Plus, if you aren't good at writing AI prompts, your results won't be as great. I've seen some AI prompts and they can be quite extensive -- often several hundred words. The difference is they can be recycled because they are instructing the AI to write based on what happened last so results using the same prompt for an argument following spilled coffee would look different than an argument following a broken dagger, though they used the same prompt. And the scene that caused the dagger to break or the coffee to be spilled is a whole different prompt from the prompt to write the following argument. Prompt engineering is a whole thing in itself. I'm not good at it, but if you are a skilled writer, you don't need to be as good at writing great AI prompts. You could just use it to write the bones that you construct around to speed up the process. If you want to use AI to write the scene 80% of the way, as he mentions, so you only have to pretty it up and AI it down, you need to be REALLY good at prompt engineering. Most folks I know who use AI to write are still doing over 50% of the writing, themselves. One mentioned she writes about 67% after AI has written the 1st draft. But that means every time a non-AI user has written 3 books, she's written 4. Plus, she works on her novels daily and runs her business full time, so she cranks out a LOT and makes several thousand a month because she takes her writing and business seriously. ..unlike certain Schnujos I know. Lol FYI, for those who can't watch the video, the top few uses for AI in writing aren't doing the actual writing and the least common use (and use the video doesn't recommend) is letting the AI do the writing without you touching it or touching it much. Don't do that. |
How's it Coming with Your November Entry in
Time is Running Out...
|
November is Winding Down. Yes, I'm WAY Behind on the Forum in
(but not too far behind on my homework, so there's that lol). How are doing with you entry/entries this month?
|
| I know how easy it can be to get behind. This month, I'm behind on almost everything except my exercise routine. As of this evening, I'm actually ahead on that. In fact, I've added chewing exercises to my routine and I'm caught up on those until mid-December. |
November's Contests at
are Listed Below:
Be sure to double click the heart in the upper right corner of the forum of your favorite contests' forums. Clicking until it turns gold from here favorites the owner, not the contest, itself, but that's cool, too! Why not do both?!? |

UPDATE: CONTEST CHANGE
As some of you may (or may not) have noticed, "Bite Size Poetry Contest" Technically, "Wintry Writing Wonderland" On the good side, "Wintry Writing Wonderland" I don't think anyone has already entered "Bite Size Poetry Contest" I apologize for the late change! I try to give the owners time in case they forgot. Plus, I had a paper, statistics, and have a presentation I'm supposed to be working on right now, plus my dissertation I'm having to give fake weekly updates on, several doctor appointments (the last one took an hour and a half just to get there), blah, blah, excuses, excuses. It's me, okay? Just accept it. Hahaha! Anyway, this is a great contest addition, so I hope you all have fun with it!
Remember: Post all 10 contest entries in 1 forum post with {post:#######} showing me all your entries in the 10 contest forums and list which contest entry goes to which contest. I'll give the 1st 5 people to finish 10k GPs! Not sure how to post to get the 50k? Check out how Soldier_Mike |

In case you missed it, Jinglette Bellette "Note: [Embed 1AgZjtTsOFw7I8l9BO] Free Gift Points!..." Naturally, the MB must count for CRs. This means if you see the red warning when you are about to send it saying that you sent one to him recently, it won't count for community recognition and Jinglette Bellette won't pay you. But she probably will be patient if you contact her and tell her when you can send him the MB. |
| Sorry, Winnie the Pooh So while there are other ways to get CRs, the most common and easiest way is through MBs (merit badges). We now get MBs just for logging on every day, posting on the newsfeed every day, doing a review every day, posting in a forum every day, and posting in a blog (even if we are just commenting on someone else's) every day. Do that for 7 days in a row and you get a MB from WdC. You can also get them from friends if they send one to you at least 1 week and 1 minute from the last time they sent one to you. But if it wasn't sent at least 1 week and 1 minute from the last time they sent you one, they will see a red warning by your name as they are about to do the final confirmation. If they confirm the MB, you won't get a CR for that MB> You can send MBs to as many people as you want and they will all count, so long as it's not the same person within 7 days and 1 minute. Multiple people can send to the same person and they will all count. You can send 1 MB free to anyone you want every 30 days. The rules for CRs still count. If it's not your free MB, it costs 10k. I hope this helps! FYI, since I'm betting you don't send a lot of MBs and you probably aren't close friends with Gingeremy Bread Man, your MB, if you send one, will count. It will probably also be free, unless you've sent a MB to someone in the last 30 days, so you get to keep all 15k, not just 5k. Yipee! If you participate, after you send the MB, you can forward the MB confirmation email to Jinglette Bellette. Her username for the email is just annette so it's easy to remember. |
🦃 intuey Grateful & Blessed CRs guaranteed, so you can order them all!!! She's got some rocking deals! |

Anyway, you can start anytime since it's simply a continuous challenge and you just need 12 consecutive months, including hopping over a new year, so if you started this month, you would end November 2026. But some folks want their 12 months in a single year, which is fine, too.
Optionally, to finish faster, you can work forwards and backwards at the same time. Do December 2025 and while you are waiting for me to post January 2026, also do November 2025. Then in January 2026, if you have time, you can do that month, but also October 2025. Technically, since I allow catching up, if you can do all 12 months in 1, you can finish super fast! Lol
But no pressure. Do what makes you happy
