Got a review of a piece I'd forgotten I'd written. I really ought to look at my port more often. Tonight I'm reading Poser, my life in twenty-three poses, by Claire Dederer. I think I needed perspective for the chapter I just read. It makes me more thoughtful than it did when I first picked up the book years ago.
That happens to me all of the time. Between all of the different poems and random contest entries over the past 20 years, I cannot remember what is in my port.
On a related note, thanks for this: |
You can't edit a blank page. This comes back to me when I think about writing, about editing, about anything related to creation. Right now it's a resume. My page isn't blank and it isn't covered with little scribbles about how much I hate the process. This is winning. ISH.
I need a dose of Star Trek, stat. Please, remind me we're one human race.
Every time we go to Dave & Busters (yesterday), I play the Star Trek game trying to get Tribble cards. Think of those cute fur balls and replicate that cuteness until you can’t stand it!

Oh. I have another novel idea. Or possibly a serial short story challenge. Not to mention the other new novel idea I had like a couple weeks ago. Ideas have never been the issue.
