Here are some amazing facts about plants that will leave you fascinated.

🌿 1. Plants "Talk" to Each Other
Some plants can release chemicals to warn nearby plants of danger, like insect attacks. This helps neighboring plants prepare defenses.

🌻 2. The World’s Oldest Tree is Over 4,800 Years Old
A bristlecone pine tree in California, named Methuselah, is considered the oldest known living tree.

🍀 3. Bamboo is the Fastest-Growing Plant
Certain species of bamboo can grow up to 91 cm (35 inches) in a single day!

🌵 4. Plants Can “Move”
Some plants like the Mimosa pudica (Touch-me-not) close their leaves when touched. Sunflowers also track the sun throughout the day.

🍄 5. Some Plants Eat Insects
Carnivorous plants like Venus flytraps and pitcher plants trap and digest insects to survive in nutrient-poor soil.

💧 6. 90% of a Plant's Weight is Water
Water plays a crucial role in photosynthesis, nutrient transport, and maintaining plant structure.

🌲 7. Trees Communicate Through Roots
Trees in forests often share nutrients and signals via underground fungal networks, nicknamed the “Wood Wide Web.”

🌼 8. Some Flowers Bloom Only at Night
Plants like the moonflower and evening primrose bloom only after sunset to attract nocturnal pollinators.

🌍 9. Plants Produce the Oxygen We Breathe
Through photosynthesis, plants release oxygen — making life on Earth possible.

🌸 10. Some Plants Can Clone Themselves
Certain plants, like strawberries and spider plants, reproduce by sending out runners to create genetically identical new plant.
*missing tile syndrome*

Once upon a time a famous hotel owner in a city built a swimming pool in his hotel. Fine Italian tiles installed around the swimming pool, but Mistry mistakenly missed the tile on one spot. Now whoever comes first focus on the beauty of tiles. Every visitor is mesmerized by seeing such great tiles. He looks and admires those tiles very closely. That's when she'd look at that missing tile and get stuck there.... After that he doesn't see the beauty of any other tile. Every person returning from the swimming pool has the same complaint that there is a tile missing. In the middle of thousands of tiles, that missing tile dominated her mind.
Many people feel very sad to see that tile that there was a tile left in making it so perfect. So many people would be confused how to fix that tile. Nobody got happier from there, and a beautiful swimming pool could bring people no joy or enjoyment.

Actually that missing tile was an experiment in that swimming pool. Psychological experiment that proves that our focus goes towards deficiencies. No matter how beautiful everything is happening, but where there is one missing, we will focus on it.

This psychological problem was named missing tile syndrome. I.e. focusing on things that are not in our lives, becomes the biggest reason to steal our happiness by moving forward.
That is a psychological problem in which all our focus is on the lack of life we could not get. And here is the biggest reason we steal our happiness.
No matter how good happens in life, we only see those things which are missing & that is the biggest reason for our sorrow.
Can we change this one habit to bring happiness in our lives?
God gave us 32 teeth, but have you ever wondered why our tongue keeps going on that broken tooth. At home your focus goes on the same furniture that has been removed from its place. Even if a mother has three children & one of them would have gone abroad, the mother thinks more about the same child who has gone abroad, not the two children who are with her. Keep on serving.
There can be a lot of examples in which we miserable all our life behind one of our shortcomings. Most people are sad about what they have got but what they haven't got instead of being happy.
Missing tile steals our focus & steals all the happiness of our life. It causes many illnesses physically and mental, now it is in our hands to keep our focus on the missing tile and be sad or on the blessings that are with us and be happy.

Age is a funny thing. We live in a world obsessed with timelines—marry by this age, succeed by that age, retire by another. Miss a milestone? Society tells you the moment is gone forever.

But here’s the truth: that’s a lie.

If your twenties were full of doubts, make your forties wild.
If your forties were consumed by responsibilities, dance through your sixties.
If you didn’t burn brightly back then—ignite now.

There’s no deadline on joy. No expiration date on reinvention. No too-late for dreams.

So wear the bold colors. Book the ticket. Learn the language. Start over.

Because late? Is always better than never.

*Biodialogue* :
Happens, amongst the vital organs of the human body !!!

Unless you just ran a marathon or climbed Mount Everest, there is simply no way that the body can successfully handle the junk food we gobble - the samosa, bread pakoda, doughnut etc that munch in the hospital canteen. The vast majority of all this is sugar, fats and refined starch.

When this flood of glucose hits the bloodstream, alarms go off in the liver and pancreas. At the genome level a metabolic "switchboard" lights up. The *biodialogue* goes like this:

*Liver to pancreas* : Glucose levels are skyrocketing! What’s your plan?

*Pancreas* : I’m exhausted from handling the aloo paratha from breakfast. And that super sweet milky masala chai and egg at 9:00. You’ve got to take this load.

*Liver* : I’ve got no room. [hits panic button. Sirens going off]

*Genome* : Come on liver, convert the glucose to glycogen.

*Liver* : I’m bursting with glycogen. Let me call the muscles. See if they need any energy.

*Muscles* : zzzzzzz wha? Energy? No we have no need for energy. We haven’t moved much in weeks.

*Genome* : Well, Liver. What’s your plan?

*Liver* : I’ll convert the glucose to triglycerides and stash it in the bloodstream.

*Bloodstream* : No howlin way! Blood is so thick already, circulation through capillary beds is down to critical levels. We’ve got billions of starving and suffocating cells in the toes, eyes, brain and kidneys.

*Genome* : That can only mean one thing, Liver, you know what to do.

*Liver* : Okay! It’ll take a few hours, but I can send these triglycerides to adipose tissue. Let me see …. belly, butt, thighs … back of the arms, a little under the chin. That’ll have to do.

And that's how
*Our Clothes do not Fit now!!!*

Good one. As we see some such food first it starts with an argument between the tongue and brain.

*Brain* says " don't touch it, you already have enough of it in your system, instead take fresh fruits and vegetables".

*Tongue* " I: Cannot resist the temptation, please keep quiet😊"

I don't think a child would run their fingers through your hair. They would just yank it.
*Do a good deed*

We are all getting old, so everyone should pay attention. Please take a minute to read this article. It may be helpful to you, your family and friends.

There was a gathering of old classmates. A lady tripped and fell during a barbecue. Her friends suggested to see a doctor, but she was sure that she was fine. She just tripped on a brick because of her new shoes. The classmates helped her clean up and served her a plate of food. Then she enjoyed the rest of the time with everyone.

After the gathering, her husband called to inform everyone that she was sent to the hospital and died at 6pm because she had a stroke during the barbecue.
If they knew how to identify the signs of a stroke, she might still be with everyone now.

In fact, stroke has precursors and can be prevented. A neurosurgeon said that if he could reach a stroke patient within three hours, he could completely reverse the consequences of a stroke.

The secret is to identify the problem of stroke and get the patient treated within three hours, which is not difficult.

*To identify a stroke,*
let us remember the three steps of *S, T, and R*. Please read and learn!
If people around you cannot recognize the signs of a stroke, the stroke patient will suffer severe brain damage.

*Just ask three simple questions*

*S: (Smile)*
Ask the patient to smile
The corners of the mouth will droop

*T: (Talk)*
Ask the patient to say a simple sentence (be organized and coherent) For example: Today is a sunny day.

*R: (Raise)*
Ask the patient to raise both hands.
One hand will fall off

Note:
Another sign of stroke is: *ask the patient to stick out the tongue*. If the tongue is "bent" or tilted to one side, it is also a sign of stroke.

If the patient cannot do any of the above four actions, he should call the ambulance/Hospital immediately and describe the symptoms to the paramedics!

A cardiothoracic physician emphasized that
If everyone who receives this email can forward ten copies to others, at least one life will be saved.

I have done my part!
I hope you will do your part too.

*Give roses to others, and the fragrance will remain on your hands!*

Master said: No matter how busy you are, you should put merit-making deeds first!

*Blessings to you🌹🙏🏼*

we use the acronym:

FAST

Face, Arm, Speech, Time
Time has 2 meanings - you have 1 hour to get them to a hospital, and sometimes they lose concept of time

The rest is as you mentioned.
Anyone who experiences these signs/symptoms, please let someone take you to the hospital. I have personally been present at a similar incident. The person exercised their right to refuse medical treatment/transport. As we were about leave, the person had a full blown stroke. By the time they got to the hospital, it was too late.

This is not something to guess about. If you don't KNOW, GO!

*Die empty*

The most beautiful book to read is "Die Empty" by Todd Henry.
The author was inspired and got this idea of writing this book while attending a business meeting.
When the director asked the audience: "Where is the richest land in the world?"
One of the audience answered: "Oil-rich Gulf states."
Another added: "Diamond mines in Africa."
Then the director said: "No it is the cemetery. Yes, it is the richest land in the world, because millions of people have departed/died and they carried many valuable ideas that did not come to light nor benefit others. It is all in the cemetery where they are buried."

Inspired by this answer, Todd Henry wrote his book, "Die empty .

The most beautiful of what he said in his book is: "Do not go to your grave and carry inside you the best that you have.
Always choose to die empty.

The TRUE meaning of this expression, is to die empty of all the goodness that is within you. Deliver it to the world, before you leave.

If you have an idea perform it.
If you have knowledge give it out.
If you have a goal achieve it.
Love, share and distribute, do not keep it inside.

Let’s begin to give. Remove and spread every atom of goodness inside us.

Start the race.

*Let us Die Empty.*

So true...and we all do the same, we are not all so very young anymore, we still have quite a bit of time left... Let’s try to give of our best in the time left to us ....never too late.

This is a great thing to do for each other. When you give of time, energy, knowledge, all of self for others then you are very, very rich. Wherever what you give goes with other people it spreads and the treasure multiplies.
Notice

She was drowning.
And nobody noticed…
Nobody, except her.

It was June 2022, at the World Championships in Budapest.
Anita Álvarez, an American artistic swimmer with Mexican roots, was performing a flawless routine.
But when her performance ended… she didn’t come up for air.

She had lost consciousness.
Her body floated for a few seconds, then began to sink.
Slowly. All the way to the bottom of the pool.

The audience didn’t notice. Neither did the judges.
Everyone was clapping.

But her coach, Andrea Fuentes, noticed.
She knew Anita—knew exactly how long it took her to surface.
She felt in her heart that something was wrong.

Without thinking twice, she dove in.
Fully dressed. Shoes and all.

She swam straight down, grabbed Anita by the waist,
and brought her back up.
She saved her life.

This story left me thinking…

Who knows you well enough to notice when you’re not okay, even if you’re still smiling?
Who would dive in for you without hesitation when you no longer have the strength to come up for air?

And more importantly…

Would you be that person for someone else?
Are you present enough in your loved ones’ lives to sense the moment they start to sink?
Or are you just another spectator, clapping, not realizing that inside, they’re fading?

In this life, we all need someone who doesn’t just see us—
but truly notices us.
Someone who knows when we’re about to give up,
and has the courage to jump in and save us.

Yes, we need that person and we need to BE that person.
*"Our Journey Together is so Short"*

A beautiful message for all of us....Take a minute please

A young lady sat in a bus. At the next stop a loud and grumpy old lady came and sat by her. She squeezed into the seat and bumped her with her numerous bags.

The person sitting on the other side of the young lady got upset, asked her why she did not speak up and say something.

The young lady responded with a smile:

"It is not necessary to be rude or argue over something so insignificant, the journey together is so short. I get off at the next stop."

This response deserves to be written in golden letters:

*"It is not necessary to argue over something so insignificant, our journey together is so short"*

If each one of us realized that our time here is so short; that to darken it with quarrels, futile arguments, not forgiving others, discontentment and a fault finding attitude would be a waste of time and energy.

Did someone break your heart? *Be calm, the journey is so short.*

Did someone betray, bully, cheat or humiliate you? *Be calm, forgive, the journey is so short.*

Whatever troubles anyone brings us, let us remember that *our journey together is so short.*

No one knows the duration of this journey. No one knows when their stop will come. *Our journey together is so short.*

Let us cherish friends and family. Let us be respectful, kind and forgiving to each other. Let us be filled with gratitude and gladness.

If I have ever hurt you, I ask for your forgiveness. If you have ever hurt me, you already have my forgiveness.

After all, *Our Journey Together is so Short!* 😊😊

Long before she passed, my mother passed on a bit of wisdom: "It's not that hard to be nice, Jon." Admittedly, as a young lad, I gave her plenty opportunity to remind me. But I never thought of asking the obvious question: "If it isn't that hard to be nice, why don't more people do it." I mean, this is Mom; we never think to question their wisdom, right? I mean -- this is Mom talking. Of course it's true.

A couple years after she passed, as my life took some bad turns, I heard her telling me that again. But in my 50s, I felt I had the wisdom to question that seemingly naive point of view. And, yep. She answered, with another quip that I again had given her plenty opportunities to say. But until that day, the two moments had never coincided:

"Just worry about yourself, Jon."

Yes, Mom.
A Chinese doctor moved to the U.S.
A Chinese doctor moved to the U.S., but couldn’t land a job at a hospital.
So, he decided to open his own little clinic and hung a sign outside that read:
“Get treatment for $20 — If not cured, get $100 back!”
One day, an American lawyer saw the sign and thought, “Easy money!”
So he walked in.
Lawyer: “Doc, I’ve lost my sense of taste.”
Doctor: “Nurse, bring medicine from box No. 22. Put three drops in the patient’s mouth.”
Lawyer: “Ugh! That’s kerosene!”
Doctor: “Congrats, your taste is back! That’ll be $20.”
Annoyed but not giving up, the lawyer returned a few days later.
Lawyer: “I’ve lost my memory. I can’t remember a thing.”
Doctor: “Nurse, bring medicine from box No. 22 and put three drops in his mouth.”

Lawyer: “Hey — that’s kerosene! You gave me this last time!”
Doctor: “Congrats, your memory’s back! That’ll be $20.”
Now fuming, the lawyer came back one last time, determined to win the $100.
Lawyer: “Doc, my eyesight is so bad — I can’t see a thing!”
Doctor: “I’m sorry, I don’t have any medicine for that. Here’s your $100.”
The doctor handed him a $20 bill.
Lawyer (squinting): “Hey, wait! This is only $20, not $100!”
Doctor: “Congrats, your eyesight’s restored! That’ll be $20.”
"A father used to say to his children when they were young: —When you all reach the age of 12 I will tell you the secret of life. One day when the oldest turned 12, he anxiously asked his father what was the secret of life. The father replied that he was going to tell him, but that he should not reveal it to his brothers.

—The secret of life is this: The cow does not give milk. "What are you saying?" Asked the boy incredulously. —As you hear it, son: The cow does not give milk, you have to milk it. You have to get up at 4 in the morning, go to the field, walk through the corral full of manure, tie the tail, hobble the legs of the cow, sit on the stool, place the bucket and do the work yourself.
That is the secret of life, the cow does not give milk. You milk her or you don't get milk. There is this generation that thinks that cows GIVE milk. That things are automatic and free: their mentality is that if "I wish, I ask..... I obtain."

"They have been accustomed to get whatever they want the easy way...But no, life is not a matter of wishing, asking and obtaining. The things that one receives are the effort of what one does. Happiness is the result of effort. Lack of effort creates frustration."

So, share with your children from a young age the secret of life, so they don't grow up with the mentality that the government, their parents, or their cute little faces is going to give them everything they need in life.
Remember 👇👇

"Cows don't give milk; you have to work for it."

I love this actually. I am still at the wishing phase.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

The most beautiful word on the lips of mankind is the word “Mother,”
and the most beautiful call is the call of “My mother.”
It is a word full of hope and love,
a sweet and kind word coming from the depths of the heart.
The mother is everything –
she is our consolation in sorrow,
our hope in misery, and our strength in weakness.
She is the source of love, mercy, sympathy, and forgiveness….
Everything in nature bespeaks the mother.
The sun is the mother of earth and gives it its nourishment of heart;
it never leaves the universe at night until it has put the earth to sleep to the song of the sea and the hymn of birds and brooks.
And this earth is the mother of trees and flowers.
It produces them, nurses them, and weans them.
The trees and flowers become kind mothers of their great fruits and seeds.
And the mother, the prototype of all existence, is the eternal spirit, full of beauty and love.
