This is such an honor. I originally wrote this story for "The Lodestar Contest" Open in new Window. and then it won Third in the "Twisted Tales Contest" Open in new Window., all the while being a story that I feel pretty good about.

Whoever you are, thank you for this. It truly lifts my spirits and reminds me that I, too, can submit nominations.

I just submitted "Etched in Stone" Open in new Window. to the Magic Words Contest. I hate that I put off writing out the story for so long (because I've left little time for public critique), but I feel pretty good about it.
