Speed Reading/reviewing- 1000 word story won't even take me five minutes to read, and you'll get a review within 10 minutes of me reading it. As it is, my reviews are usually around 300 Characters- minus my Review Sig. However, sometimes they'll reach the 1,000 Character mark. Depends on the Story/item. *Bigsmile*

Interactives that don't have an actual story started - Give me some meat to eat there before you ask me to look at it, with at least one thread being at least 10 chapters long, and not just choices that aren't even developed, preferably written by your own hand. Books - well, not through a Review Request page anyways, as I'd would have to review the book itself and not the Chapter, in order to get paid, but I will review them if you ask me in an email. In my personal experience, the best time to watch the stars is at night, out in the middle of the country. We get so caught up in the Perfect view, that we forget to enjoy the view that's Good Enough. Sometimes we can't see the forest for the trees, as it were. So, what we need to do, is simply get out a chair, and look up at the night sky.

While I'll admit that I tend to say that my days are long, there's always something to them. There might be something that happened at work that was crazy - been wrapping a lot of corn, broccoli, and Brussel sprouts these past few days, or maybe you got a project to work on - got to replace my porch, or maybe you're dealing with an annoyance - like those hornets nesting in my back door. Always something.

A cute funny story. A girl has a friend that thinks that happiness is overrated. So, she decides to scare her. She decorates a room up with scary things, places a bag over the friend, carries them to the room, only for the friend to go, "The spiders should be real." Sounds like that new Adams Family series to me, from what I know of it. I wonder if there will be a follow-up to this.

There are many tests in life. Some are obvious - dealing with the loss of a loved one, loss of possessions, loss of health and limbs even. Others, not so obvious - how do you treat a stranger, how do you make a choice, how do you treat nature? There's so many, oy is even impossible to write them all. Writing this review might be a test for me, especially since the letters on my keyboard are worn away, meaning I better know what each blank key is. Always a test.

Funny thing about us being runners - we can keep moving for a long time - one fella actually kept up a marathon walk for seven days, and that was without eating food, drinking water, or sleeping, although, those last three things were because he didn't realize that those were allowed. To any other animal, especially back in the day, we were seen as the monsters that hunted them. Now, I don't know - maybe we still are those monsters, waiting in the edges of their vision.

Pronunciation of the word "Gyro" - the food, not the spinning thing. Funny thing is, different areas will use different pronunciations of the same word - Po ta toe, pah tah to. This can result in the occasional disagreements - avoid the drunkards at bars who fight extra hard though. There are many reasons for this, but accents are part of the reasons, plus how one is taught to say something, among others. Now, pass me a sandwich - I'm hungry.

As someone whose dog was recently put down due to poor health, having just come off of helping a neighbor bury theirs at the time, I know the feeling. The noisy, and nosy, rat-thingy that you didn't care for, somehow grows on you, and you start to care for them. Then, one day, the vet tells you that the little lady has an inoperable form of cancer, and all you can do is just make her last few months as comfortable as possible, before eventually.... well, the end result is trying to dig up dirt that requires a pickaxe to break through, just so that you can place her next to the other two dogs that had been previously buried near her final resting location.

Colonizing other planets, moons, large asteroids, and other large heavenly bodies is the stuff of Science Fiction, as of now. Is it possible in the future? Maybe. Will we? Who knows. For now, it's the stuff of movies, stories, video games, and other such things. One good thing about imagination - we can think up some rather crazy scenarios, and thus mentally prepare ourselves for the worst outcomes and situations, and thus are happy when they don't come to pass.

Let's see - Italy wants to wage war - with words - against the United Kingdom, over pasta. I don't know. I mean, we all know that Italians are fluent in sign language - well, at least those of New Jersey like to claim that it is - but what about the British? What is their counter? I'm sorry, but that looks like the Peace Sign to me, aside from how the back of your hand is facing me. Wait - it's a holdover from when the French threatened to cut off pointer and middle fingers of English archers and said archers wanted to show off said fingers after beating the French? Okay - that's a power move right there. Italians? Actually, that finger has been around a long time. Needless to say, Italy might, just might, win the war of words, over pasta. Now, pass me some mac-n-cheese.

Cats - it's like their purpose is to make us laugh, when they are not trying to steal our seats, or food, or beds, or anything else. They jump up on things, and we have no choice but to pay attention to them, if only to do so to grab and throw them off - oddly enough, they tend to enjoy that, which can be annoying when they come back and all but say, "That was fun! Let's do that again!" Makes you groan from it.

Why is sadness important? Well, I've never seen the movie, but I have read the Wikipedia summary for the movie Inside Out. In it, among other things, the emotion Joy is trying to figure out the reason for the emotion Sadness's purpose. Well, not to spoil too much, but, basically, Joy finds out that the reason for Sadness's existence is to help their human appreciate things better. That being said, not going to judge a movie I haven't watched, but I like that idea. I know that I tend to appreciate certain things after a good cry.

Jokes. Some are very old. Heard of one from Babylon about a guy's daughter that hadn't farted. Might need to reread that one again. Some jokes are around certain folks - we all call Napoleon short, but in truth, he was just of average size. Humor of any sort seems to be a defining trait of humanity, because it tells us something very important - if you can laugh, you're still alive.

There's a number of things I regret. I regret not spending more time with relatives of mine that were taken from this world too soon. I wish that I could spend time with a cousin that I haven't seen in ten years. I wish that good dogs didn't die. Still, one must look forward, as that can reveal possible opportunities to achieve one's goals.

Ordinary life - nothing wrong with having that. While many may want fame, most will slip through, relatively, unnoticed by others. For many, their lives will mean next to nothing to others. This can be good, especially if they live lives of relative peace, and remain unnoticed by society at large. Sometimes the best life one can have is to be unseen and unknown by others.

Sleep - one of the most important things that one can do. Many need between 6 and 8 hours of sleep each day, or, for the most part, each night, in order to stay reasonably healthy. It helps us to relax, clear our heads, heal up, clear/focus our thoughts, and a few other things, which are all needed in order to have our health. Now, perhaps it would be a good idea to take a nice nap.

This poem seems to be about breaking past limits, like breaking past the sky, into outer space, and on into distant galaxies. In a way, this is a goal that many, if not all, happen to have. There is always that barrier, that sky, that seems to be in our way. We all want to break past it, in one manner of speaking or another, and reach the galaxy past that sky.

Pets - there's always something about them. Cat, dog, bird, fish, rabbit, rodent - whatever. Watch them long enough, and something with happen. My step-father liked medium-sized dogs, poking fun of the smaller ones. Then my aunt couldn't take care of her Sissy, a dash hound - mix, maybe fifteen pounds total. Somehow this little rat managed to steal his heart.

A song came to my mind as I read this. "Moments" by Emerson Drive. In it, a man wanting to commit suicide by jumping from a bridge, finds himself followed by a beggar. The beggar looks at him, and talks about how he wasn't always a beggar, how he had folks he cared for, and lost them. The man realizes that if the beggar could live through such difficult times, so could he, and this gives the man a second chance at life. Every moment we have is a second chance in some manner. So, live every moment to the fullest. After all, at some point, they will end. Don't leave behind regrets.

Temper! Temper! - This has become something of a meme, due to an incident during the Korean war. A small artillery post on an island decided to shoot at a battleship. Captain of the ship told the crew to remove the island. Island was removed. Captain of a destroyer ship goes "Temper! Temper!" Now, I see clips involving the incident on Youtube every now and then.

Generation Xerox - the idea that not only are you identical to your ancestors, but your descendants will be identical to you. Now, I don't know how true that is - farming is in my blood on both sides, I'm surrounded by farmland (all surrounding fields have corn - cow corn - at the moment), but I can't find the energy to grow the garden I want to have. I don't know. Might be something there though.

Boring, when there's nothing to do,. and nothing is going on. Funny thing is, you've mentioned having issues with AI stories. Some folks don't like them. Me - I find them to be a way to kill 20 minutes to an hour, especially if walking, mowing, or doing some other mind-numbing task. Some dramas hook you with a plausible realistic hook, and even though you'll figure it's fiction within five minutes, you'll still listen for the twenty or so minutes it plays. Personally, I prefer sci-fi stories. Some are very good.

A spelunking guide is trying to locate a missing teenager that's lost in a cave system. The cave has a legend around it, where it was where Native Americans would place their dead in it, to send them to the Afterlife. It seems that the young man took a wrong turn and got lost. Now the Guide is trying to follow the man's voice, trying to locate him. Will he be able to?

Sometimes we just need a day to ourselves, one where we spend time playing with our children, or our pets. Or, we just clean those areas of the house that we'd put off cleaning for a while. Or, maybe, we get to work on those stories that have been floating around in our brain for so long. There is always something we can do on our days off.

The ache of missing those no longer here. There's dogs I miss seeing running around. I wish that I had known my grandfathers better, that my one grandma was still alive, and I wish that I'd had a chance to go fishing and hunting with a cousin of mine. There's always folks we miss. The trick is to increase the number of friends we have, so that, one day, we can introduce them to those that went before.
