I love this poem! Sometimes sorrow is too much for us to bear, and we as humans give in to denial. This girl is doing that exactly. I did think this was a man at the beginning of the poem, just the way she talked. It's probably just me, though, so keep up the good work!
Human curiosity is sometimes the most dangerous thing in the world. I love how you portray that in this piece. I think this is a 5-star writing project because of how you wrote it, as if you were telling everyone as if they were right there with you. Thank you so much for getting your ideas out there, for it is truly the hardest part of writing.
This is a wonderful story! I have to take care of some preschoolers tomorrow, and I really want to share this story with them. I think they would love it. I give it 4.5 stars, just because there is never a perfect!
