Greetings from the prairies,

I rather enjoyed reading this, it was very interesting. But I do have a few suggestions:

'I readily used to volunteer for trip, relished the idea of spending days on the road in new places.'-could change trip to trips and relished to relishing.

'Colombia Venezuela and Brazil.'-comma between Colombia and Venezuala.

'man which whom I share that life'-could change to 'with whom'.
