I love it. It is certainly a good description of the raccoon. The rhythm is good and easy to follow. I think Raccoons are very funny looking as they look like robbers.
This would make a good poetry book for children. Hope you win. I am trying to write a poem too.

Did you enter her in my contest? A beautiful little poem. You can tell by reading it that she is well loved. A truly precious little elderly lady. My dog Ladybug is 12 years old. I enjoyed reading your poem. I hope she feels better soon. Good luck in the contest.

You hit it right on the head. I was away from my writing when I became ill and didn't have any desire to write anymore. I joined WDC and look at me now. Your little poem says a lot to writers like me and it was great with the flow. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing and making my day.

Can't wait till second round. I love word puzzles. I entered one that needed as many words as possible for the word Beatles and I won. So, I'M ready. I have always loved things to do with words, I like Scrabble and WORD WHOMP on Pogo.com. So, I will put on my special thinking cap and get ready for the ride. See you soon.

I love it, you hit it right on the head. Very easy flow and rhyme was terrific. I too, have lived north and south. I found your poem to be accurate on your details and it held my attention very well. I like the costumicons also; it gives vision to the poem.

Scared to love again you say to yourself...
"How can you fix a broken heart?"

Such a beautiful written poem. Full of feelings and emotions, I have been where the last verse talks about. The flow was easy to follow and kept my attention very well.

OH, my gracious, how very beautiful. I love cats and this one you describe seems to do what a cat does; entertain. the rhythm was great, I was enthralled all the way to the bottom. I enjoy your contests. Your poem has given me some ideas for writing some of my own.

Very well written. Looks like you got the hang of it rather good. I did my first one which was only 1 verse long. Maybe I'll try to expand it some more. Anyway, very good one. When I write I don't know the forms very well. I just tell myself a story and write. I hope you win. I liked it a lot.

This poem has so much meaning. You did a good job describing her. I could see her standing there. Your description was exactly as an art piece would appear. It was written with thought and feelings. It is a beautiful poem, I enjoyed reading it so very much.

I found this very easy to read. It seems you have found a new 12 days to celebrate. I enjoyed reading it and it was written very well. I am going to make up my own 12 days and hope it turns out as well as this one did. Once more good job. I will try to visit your port and see what else I may find

Thank you, so beautiful. I lost my mom a few years ago and it has been hard being without her. Your poem eases the pain some. I have written several poems about her. Please come visit my port. ONCE AGAIN IT WAS VERY MOVING. THANK YOU. I will try to visit your port as soon as possible.
