Very good for a first outing. Please continue to write, to create. Let the mind go. Poetry is the language of the experience of being alive and it seems you have a great grasp of that "moment".

I'm originally from the Mid-West now living in Florida, so now I do not get an Autumn, my favorite time of the year. This poem captures much of that "feel" we would get, the smell of the falling leaves, the chill of the breeze, and where I lived, the time of the Harvest and all the festivals that went along with it. Thank you for reminding me of all that which I now miss. Very well done!
