I like it :) I'm also rather new to this, so I'm not the best judge of things, but I think the poem was nice! Only thing I'll mention is that you forgot the apostrophe for "can't", but that could've been a personal choice on your part or a simple error. My favorite part of the poem was the beginning. It did a great job at setting up the melancholic tone that's present throughout the rest of the work. Overall, great job :) I hope to see more of your writing in the future.
