The rest of the world is still there without us, watching, witnessing, can you really be alone in that case? I dont think we truly can be alone in the global sense
I cant tell if this is supposed to be optimistic sci-fi or abject technological horror. Compelling either way but it's difficult to read the intent. I suppose the ambiguity could be part of the reader experience though. For some people rewards and experiences to incentivise dayly life sounds great, thats why stuff like Habitica exists, but for me personally this feels terrifying. It leaves me to question if our protagonists life is really his own anymore or if the computer is doing the living and using his body to do it.
