The eyes are windows to the soul. Poetry is hearing that soul. Such a sweet poem. I enjoyed reading this short piece. Perfect description of where poetry takes you. Neat prose. I enjoyed reading this. It held my interest very well. You weren't different, you just preferred to keep things to yourself. A very different and interesting read. I could see a couple of my younger schoolmates like that. Loving life as it comes. I suggest using a larger font and eliminating a little bit of white space. The content itself is good and interesting as it stands. Good job pulling this together. Thank you for sharing.

A few nice little poems. Haiku and Tanka. I am familiar with one. The all sound good and strong. I enjoy reading these like this. They all seem to link a bit in thought. I would label each alone with its own title. Just a suggestion. These are good as they stand. Thank you for sharing.

I feel a sad, dark, mood with this little poem. So full of emotion, with such a strong cry for help. The poem itself is good one, clear and descriptive free verse. The feeling is a sad feeling. Very good free verse, lot of description of the elements. Good job making reader feel what the man feels. I enjoyed this, could see a man red and sweaty stopping for a brief respite of cold water. I see why he was called a star, but nothing tells me of his life afterward. Good job with the description of dribbling and the offensive and defensive moves. Good story with keeping that clear. I know and understand basketball, but not all who read this will. Good story though, only suggestion is drop it down a few lines and put the title in bold on top. Otherwise it's a well written story. Beautiful poem, describing results of drought. The emotion is clear and strong. Tears are shed. But I feel this goes on, over and over. Droughts are not something we have learned to control. My opinion is your student did an excellent job. Putting emotions on paper is tough sometimes. I sat where the student was, so understanding those emotions were great. Very descriptive story. I must admit it lost me a few lines in. Seems like someone was run off a bridge or something. Sometimes we should let the readers mind supply the description of something. Today we try to make our story's as 'show not tell'. It sounds like this could be a very good story with some editing. Lot of talent here. Thank you for sharing. Keep writing. Such a neat little story of a child bring items from visits she makes in her sleep. Don't we all wish we could do that sometimes. Good story, kept me interested. The last paragraph sums it all up. Nice flash story of break dancing on the track beside a school game. No fights, no bad stuff, just full break dancing with music. Cool story. It was easy to read and I laughed as well. I feel this is a King who is condemning those who lied to him. That if truth had been told, things would be different. Interesting poem, does cause you to think, should you always tell the truth? I suppose there are times fear prevents the truth from being told. Good strong free verse poem. Only suggestion I have is center it and increase font size. Poem is wonderful as it is.
