A thought about symbols.

Moving God Inward.

The world is full of pain and strife;
Despair within a broken heart.
Questions seek a Truth of life:
Why we exist. What is our part?

Symbols stagger, and we dare
To put our faith in what’s been told,
Without a thought; not much care,
And anger when the world turns cold.

To know Gods love within oneself,
To take a symbol for it’s worth,
Will move the mountains of one’s soul,
And answer questions of one’s birth.
