Reflecting on the hit songs on the date of my birth. |
| I Am Sagittarius. I am Sagittarius, with an unquenchable thirst to define my life path! The hit songs of my birth date have predicted that path well. Who knew? In the UK it was 'Lovesick Blues' by Frank Ifields that topped the charts! I laugh now, in wonder and amazement. How fitting that a song raised up on the light of my own stardust, Should so define the love I have shared, And the broken hearts I have left behind. I am always restless; never still. I have a tendency to describe my feelings, rather than feel them! The ease at which I orchestrate my inner sanctuary with logic and clarity, Is clearly outlined in the preamble of my birth date, With the USA hit song: 'Big Girls Don’t Cry' by The 4 Seasons. As I listen to the song, a nudge of sadness Reaches out of the shadows, A reminder of what a don’t cry philosophy hides away. I am always restless; never still. I do strive for balance, But the dramatic irony of my life, bequeathed by the same stardust that prompted these songs, Is revealed: I will always be restless, never still, and life will always be an amazing journey written by the stars! I am Sagittarius: Soft as the falling rain; eager to search out the universe, and unveil its secrets; and born the same day as the signing of the concord agreement. Brilliant! 235 words. 30 lines. Writer's Cramp Contest. "Lovesick Blues" by Frank Ifields. UK #1 on the charts on November 29 1962. "Big Girls Don’t Cry" by The 4 Seasons. USA #1 on the charts on November 29 1962. |
