Setting up the story:

1. The story takes place in the year 2035. Eleven years had passed since five alien children found themselves on Earth due to no fault of their own. Their adventures had changed Earth and humanity for all time. On this day, a sleek space faring vessel left behind by ancient humans when they set out to explore the universe, is in route from Earth. Aboard are five children and one of their parents serving as diplomats for first contact. This was what was done after the alien children's adventures it its effects on humanity were made known to the Galactic Council. Every part of the visit was meticulously planned in advanced. Every variable had been prepared for but one. As the human vessel exited hyper space, an overlooked race of sentient insects the size of humans performed a dance on the hull. The humans, not knowing the meaning of the dance, panicked believing it was a swarm attack. The five children were launched forward towards the Galactic Council in escape pods only they scattered, each landing on a different alien world. Now, for the humans and the Council, it is a race against time to prevent a major inter galactic diplomatic incident.
