Grokster Suess style story about the Drake and Josh Show |
In a town called Belleview, where the sun always shone, Lived two boys so different, yet they werenât alone. There was Drake, oh so cool, with his guitar in hand, Strumming tunes so groovy, he led a rockinâ band. Then came Josh, quite the nerd, with his books piled high, A brain full of smarts and a twinkle in his eye. These two werenât kin, not by blood, oh no, But fate twirled them together in a stepbrother show! Their mom wed their dad in a whirl of delight, And suddenly Drake and Josh shared a room every night. âOh, the noise!â cried Josh, âYour strumâs too loud!â âOh, relax!â grinned Drake, winking to the crowd. In their house of chaos, with a sister named Meg, A trickster so sly, sheâd hide eggs in your leg! Sheâd giggle and scheme with a mischievous grin, Leaving Drake and Josh in a pickle again. One day Drake said, âJosh, letâs throw a big bash!â Josh frowned, âA party? Weâll run out of cash!â But Drake strummed his strings, and the kids all came near, The house shook with laughter, and soda, and cheer. Then the doorbell went ding!âoh, who could it be? A pizza man twirled with a pie, fancy-free. But Josh tripped on a skate, and the pie flew so high, It stuck to the ceiling with a splat and a sigh. âOh, Drake!â groaned Josh, âThis mess is your fault!â Drake shrugged, âItâs rock ânâ roll, not a somersault!â They scrubbed and they scraped âtil the ceiling was bare, While Megan just watched with a pranksterâs glare. Through squabbles and spills, they learned day by day, That brothers can clash yet still find a way. For Drake had the swagger, and Josh had the wit, Together they tumbled, a perfect misfit. In Belleview they stayed, through thick and through thin, With Meganâs wild pranks and their stepbrother grin. So if ever youâre different, like night is from dawn, Think of Drake and Joshâoddly, they got along! |
