A letter to my love

In every life of mine I have completed, I have fallen deeply in love with you.
I have had many lives, maybe one as a soldier or maybe as a simple, lowly worker.
What I do know is that in every one of them, I have been led back to you, my kindred soul.
You have stolen my heart in many worlds, and you have kept it in your palms.

Falling in love with you is like learning a new language; it’s thrilling, soft, warm, but it’s also challenging, unfamiliar. These feelings are new to me in this life, but I know we’ll be alright, I know we’ll make it through the tough parts. The reason I know so well is because I am yours. My mind, body, and soul are yours to keep; my entire being, my existence itself, is for you.
This feeling is no ordinary one, it is the last time that I will feel this way, because you are the last person I will fall for.

Now, I know this might sound cheesy, but I would travel the farthest roads to see you. I want to fall in love with you over and over again. I want to love you in the middle of an ocean, I want to love you in the middle of plane rides to places we can’t even pronounce.
If our love were a map, I would travel every inch of it, even if it brought challenges along with it.

You are my favorite place to be, you are like a home without a home. So, as I write this message with tears in my eyes, soaking up my blankets, I’ll say the words you will hear from me forever. I love you.
