She said, “Meet me in the stars if you like.”
He replied, “Forever and always, I’ll see you tonight.”
Later that day or rather later that night.
Flying through the stars or rather all the bright lights.

His eyes fix upon divine as it could’ve blinded his sight.
Yet it didn’t for he saw her shining oh so bright.
Upon the planets, the stars, and the otherworldly frights.
She shined so far she was practically starlight.

Within her grace she looked upon him and smiled with life.
He reaches, she grasps, it was as if all the stars aligned.
In that moment he felt peace staring at what’s divine.
He leans forward with a whisper, “I’ve met you in the stars shimmering so bright.”
