A reflection on an ex (so fun)

he wished my brown hair golden

my crudeness soft

wished patience as my virtue



he loved molding me

turning my sails to catch wind

hoping I'd end up another place

find the right direction



see, he loved me

loved me a lot

but wanted me to change

wanted kinder. Wanted

loved me metamorphosis
