A whispered wish, a forgotten dream,

A solitary world, a one-man team.

No grand design, no path made clear,

Just quiet tracks of stagnant tears.

Then, a flicker of hope, so unexpected,

Leaving her vulnerable, unprotected.

A whispered fate, she heard it call,

Flames ignited, giving her pause.

Shared laughter brought them closer still,

Connections forged between free wills.

Slowly, surely, a gentle rose bloomed,

Banishing the shadows clouding the room.

Her heart, once guarded, now open wide,

A boundless love, she became his bride.

No longer wandering, together at last,

Lives entwined, no questions asked.

This accidental love, a sweet surprise,

Reflected brightly in her blue eyes.

The universe smiled and seemed to say,

"This long shot blossomed and bloomed today."
