​A Quick Hello (And Thank You)

​A hello from a new indie author.

Hi everyone,

​I've only been on Writing.com for a couple of days, and I'm already a bit overwhelmed by the kind words and warm welcome people have shared. Thank you so much for that.

​I'm still figuring out how I'll use this site, but I wanted to share a bit about my current journey. Since releasing my debut novel back in May, the hardest part has been finding an audience to read it. Social media has been a tough grind with low interaction.

​My blog, however, has been a real bright spot, and it's the one part of the marketing side I genuinely enjoy doing. I'm not getting thousands of views, but my monthly view count has grown from double digits to triple digits over the last few months, and this month is already my best yet. So, a huge thank you to anyone who has already ventured over to read some of my articles!

​You can probably expect more posts like this on my Writing.com feed – honest thoughts and musings about what I'm up to in the chaotic world of marketing, writing, and editing my books.
​It's been a pleasure exploring the community here so far, and hopefully, I'll get the hang of all the extra buttons and features soon!
