One World, Our World

A Drabble (exactly 100 words) about the future.

Once upon a time the world was sane, and safe. But nothing stays the same for long.

Weather changes climates. Such outside influences as rogue meteors change climates. Maniacal leaders change political and social climates.

Some factors we can control, others we cannot. Those that we can control, we must. Those that we cannot control, we must learn to.

For now, this is the only world we have. We can strap into a seat and blast off at incredible speeds toward other planets, but there's no air to breathe once we get there. So let's work on getting it right.
