The Best Halloween Costume

A hilarious dialogue about adult trick or treating

“What are you dressing up as for Halloween?”

“Huh? I’m 36 years old! I am way too old for that mess. What? Are you going to go trick or treating too?”

“Well, obvioulsy, at least I’m gonna try. Think they’ll let me?”

“Well, considering I don’t see your old behind getting confused for a 12 year old, I highly doubt anyone in their right mind will give you any candy.”

“Whoever said adults couldn’t trick or treat? Huh? Is there some rule book that I’m too old to eat candy? Besides, I think my costume will be a hit. It’s gonna have everyone rolling on the ground in uncontrollable laughter. “

“It can’t be that good! No way!”

“Really? Are you sure about that? I think you might be mistaken on that. Here, I’ll show you.”

“Wow! I think you might actually get in some legal trouble for that one! There’s no way parents are going to be very accepting of their kids seeing you walking around like that. Are you out of your mind?”

“Oh come on, it’s freaking hilarious if you ask me. “

“Your butt is hanging out!”

“It’s not really my butt. It’s fake obviously.”

“No way? But it’s so realistic.”

“I know right? That’s what makes it so perfect.”

“It’s literally just a hospital gown.”

“That’s what makes it so funny. I’m dressing up as a patient in a hospital gown, and it’s so realistic. You know that nobody can actually wear these things without their butts being on full display. I think it is hilarious!”

“Ok, if you say so, but I’m not so sure that parents of small kids will want to take the time out of their already busy night to explain to their kids that it’s not your actual butt hanging out. You might actually get the police called on you for this one.”

“Let it play out. The cops will think it’s hilarious! Just you wait and see!”
